The Queen of Mistakes

What is a mistake? An action or judgment that is misguided or wrong. That is all a mistake is, we as humans are allowed to make mistakes. That is the way we learn. When we are babies and are learning to walk, “we fall.” I don’t care how good or strong we are as babies, our legs shake a little and so often we fall, so often the people around us laugh and clap and tell us how great we are doing. Without thinking twice, we get up and try again. I can only imagine, what is going through our little brains. We are probably super excited and amazed from the beauty of walking, so excited we start going everywhere and start grabbing everything around us.

Mistakes are intended to make us better, to learn about what to do and what NOT to do. When we are learning to drive, we definitely make mistakes, regardless of how good or smart we are. We STILL make mistakes. Something that is extremely important to comprehend is that mistakes don’t make us any less of a human being.

As an inventor, Edison made one thousand attempts at inventing the light bulb, before finally succeeding. If it wasn’t for all those times he tried, we would not have a light bulb today. We all know this, we have heard this all throughout history, but we fail to apply it in our daily lives. Sometimes it is easier to put ourselves down because of the mistakes that we have made. Instead we should learn from those mistakes, and use them to improve our lives.

Unfortunately many people get depressed when they make a mistake; soon they quit and give up. But the truth is that we are who we are today, because of those mistakes that I like to call lessons. I should call myself the “queen of mistakes” Because honey, I have made a lot. But thanks to that, I am who I am today. They have shaped my life in a much better way. They have led me to be better and better.

Love yourself enough to keep going, learn from your past and embrace the great human being that you are.

About LoveHeals

Some people say I make them laugh. Some people say I inspire them. I'm hoping to connect some of the things I've learned along life's road with some of the people who could use a dose of humor and inspiration.
