Transforming Our World

A Healing Process for Mother Earth

I recently met with a healer who lives on a mountaintop and together we did a beautiful blessing for the changes that are coming in our world.  Many suggest that these changes will be a fulfillment of things begun in the 1960’s when large segments of society rejected the status quo and began the tilt toward peace.  The young caught ‘a new vibration,’ took to the streets, and challenged the war.  The music of Joan Baez, Peter, Paul, and Mary, and Bob Dylan filled the streets.  Peace signs were everywhere, prominently displayed as symbols of a higher intention for human life.  The promise of a new, more just, more loving world began.  Forty years later, something is happening. People are seeking, questing, and envisioning living in new ways.  In this societal restructuring, anything is possible and we are all a vital part of it.

There is a belief that Mother Earth has a special kind of energy pulsating in specific sacred sites.  Myths, legends, and indigenous wisdom suggest that the earth has a system of energy centers similar to chakras where potent energy resides.  These sites are said to be:

1st chakra – Mt. Shasta, California

2nd chakra – Lake Titicaca, South America

3rd chakra – Uluru-Katatjuta, Australia

4th chakra – Glastonbury-Shaftesbury, England

5th chakra – Great Pyramid-Mt. of Olives

6th chakra – Kuh-e Malek Siah, Iran

7th chakra – Mt. Kailas, Tibet

It can be a wonderful healing process to lay the photos of the earth’s energy centers on the ground, to feel the energy of the sun, and to walk barefoot in a parallel path with the photos, offering a blessing to the great Mother Earth.  As you receive and draw in the energy of the sun, you can bless the places in between where people still suffer from war and the lack of peace.  Something is shifting in our world and we can assist in that change.  Each and every one of us who holds a healing consciousness will play a part in the coming global transformation of ‘a world that works for all.’

About LoveHeals

Some people say I make them laugh. Some people say I inspire them. I'm hoping to connect some of the things I've learned along life's road with some of the people who could use a dose of humor and inspiration.
