Spiritual Branding

Defining Your Essence

The world is awakening in ways we could have hardly imagined.  I see it in the choices of popular books, in the rising of Wellness Centers; I hear it in the conversations of everyday people.   The world needs our wisdom and all of our gifts in the momentum of this great spiritual rising.  What are your gifts and how can you connect them with those who are seeking what you have to offer?

I was recently in Seattle where I was exposed to a newly released book, Branding Basics by Maria Ross, a young branding expert who helps companies define their essence and unique market niche.  This process of discovery allows companies to thrive by being authentic, identifying who they really are, and then defining themselves in ways that connect with their potential audience and customers.  It is an exciting process that can cut through a lot of vague thinking and misguided efforts.  To be effective in the emerging spiritual rising, this is valuable information.

As a way of identifying your unique gifts and market niche, Ross suggests answering the following five questions before you advertise, before you make business cards, and as the key element in effective outreach.  As you think of yourself, your business, and what you hope to offer the world, consider these vital first steps:

1.  Who am I?

2.  Who is the ideal customer?  Where are they?

3.  How am I different?

4.  What is my (our) personality?

5.  What is our promise?

By identifying these critical pieces of information, you may be guided in directions that allow you to be more authentic in your work and connect more readily with those who need what you uniquely have to offer.

Happy creating…

About LoveHeals

Some people say I make them laugh. Some people say I inspire them. I'm hoping to connect some of the things I've learned along life's road with some of the people who could use a dose of humor and inspiration.
